Multi-energy efficiency

District heating networks are now able to operate using multiple energy sources:
  • Fossile energies (gas, coal, fuel oil),
  • Recovered energies,
  • Renewable energies.

This diversity allows greater flexibility, secures supply and provides greater control of the cost of heating and thereby contributes to greater energy independence.

With the aim of contributing to the protection of the environment but also of reducing our dependence on fossil energies, focus is now turned to district heating networks supplied with renewable and recovered energies:
